Adam John Jablonka

Adam John Jablonka, 76, of Erie, died Saturday, June 21, 2014 at UPMC Hamot. He was born March 15, 1938 in Lublin, Poland, a son of the late Jan and Stefania Momot Jablonka. He had lived in Erie most of his life.

He retired from Erie Bronze and Aluminum in 2003. He was an avid coin collector and talented artist and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Linda C. Macri Jablonka.

He is survived by two sons, John M. Jablonka and Sean B. Jablonka, both of Erie; one brother Stanley J. Jablonka and his wife Martha of Girard, PA; one sister, Jane A. Weber and her husband Charles of Erie; and four grandchildren, Casey, Nyle, Brady, and Greysen Jablonka. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
