Agnes M. "Aggie" Luciano Vogel, 91, of Erie, died Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Saint Vincent Health Center following a brief illness. She was born November 19, 1925 in Erie, a daughter of the late Anthony and Virginia Colonna Luciano.

Aggie was a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish where she and her late husband John operated the Bingo kitchen for many years. She was an active member of the Montenero Ladies Society and was very proud of her Montenero Heritage. She was a social butterfly and loved having friends over for coffee and a good piece of pie! She enjoyed any time spent with family and friends. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her and she will always be fondly remembered by all who loved her as "Ma".

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John A. Vogel; her daughter Beverly VanMaele; a brother Michael Luciano and a sister Ida Lopez.

She is survived by two sons, John A. Vogel (Carol), David P. Hosu (Betti), and her son-in-law, Jim VanMaele all of Erie. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Amy Okey (Ben), Anthony VanMaele (Christina), David Hosu, and Heather Cutter (Mike); ten great-grandchildren, Ryan and Anna Okey, Connor, Cole, Antonio, Mackenzie and Madison VanMaele, Aggie Lynn Hosu, and Liam and Logan Cutter. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1626 West 26th Street. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
