Aleksandar Ristovski (Risto)

Aleksandar Ristovski (Risto), 91, of Erie, died Saturday, October 25, 2014 at UPMC Hamot He was born October 23, 1923 in Bitola, Macedonia, a son of the late Krste and Vangelia Milosevski Ristovski.

He had owned an operated Majestic Bakery.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Lenka Kostef Ristovski and two brothers, Gone and Ico Ristovski.

He is survived by his three children, Milica Spasevski (Gavre), of Toronto, Canada; James Risto (Lidia), of Erie, and Violeta Brickner (Donald), of Erie; six grandchildren, Mary Sabat, Robert Spasevski, Kris Risto, Snezana DiBello, Boris Kitevski, and Juliana Carter. Also surviving are seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and extended family members in Macedonia and Australia.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. A Trisagion Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 4376 West Lake Road, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
