Alice R. Daniele Masiroff

Alice R. Daniele Masiroff, age 92, of Erie, died Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center. She was born February 28, 1921 in Erie, a daughter of the late Carlo and Carolina Balistieri Daniele. She lived in Erie her entire life.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Altar Society. She enjoyed her trips to Italy where she visited the towns her parents were born.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Masiroff, one brother, Joseph Daniele and one sister, Yola Carr.

She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Hovis and husband William of West Chester, OH and Marilyn Pol of Erie; one son, William R. Masiroff and wife Pamela of Erie and seven grandchildren, Jenna, Lauren, Ashley, Nathan, Joseph, Amy and Carly. She is also survived by two great-grandsons, Benjamin and Lucas and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a funeral service there on Monday at 1:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, 816 West 26th Street, at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be Calvary Cemetery.
