Andrew J. Stephens

Andrew J. Stephens, age 48, of Erie, died Friday, July 26, 2013 at Saint Vincent Health Center. He was born February 16, 1965 in San Jose, CA, a son of Gerry Homan of Erie and the late Robert R. Stephens.

He was a graduate of General McLane High School and Erie County Technical School.

Andrew served on the Board of Directors of The Knights of St. John. He was a member of the Erie Yacht Club and Sacred Heart Usher's Club. He enjoyed sailing and fabricating bikes and cars. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Jarid V. Halm of Wattsburg, PA; one brother, Patrick Stephens; one sister, Ann Stephens and one niece, Samantha Stephens all of Erie. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
