Angeline T. DiPlacido Vendetti

Angeline T. DiPlacido Vendetti, 97, of Erie, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at Saint Vincent Hospital.

She was born February 15, 1920 in Erie, a daughter of the late John and Mary Tullo DiPlacido .

Angeline was an active member of Saint Paul Church. She enjoyed the casino, going out to dinner, and cooking dinners for her family on holidays.

In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband, Alex P. Vendetti; three brothers, Clement, Nicholas, and Domenick DiPlacido; and four sisters, Helen VanDamia, Bertha Mariella, Sue Spiradovich, and Rose Bashore.

She is survived by her three daughters, Carol Woznicki of Florida, Marilyn Kossbiel, and Lucille Vendetti both of Erie; two sons, Frank Vendetti (Debbie) of Ft. Myers, FL and John A. Vendetti (Laurie) of Erie. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to an animal shelter of one's choice.
