Anthony J. Russo Jr

Anthony J. Russo, Jr., age 69, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at UPMC Hamot. He was born November 2, 1953 in Erie, a son of the late Anthony and Mamie Notarione Russo.

Anthony was a graduate of Technical Memorial High School, Class of 1971. He was a skilled mechanic and had worked for Firch Baking Company, Pepsi, and owned Russo Automotive. He retired as the Maintenance Director for Saint George Church and School. Anthony was a lifetime member of the Sunflower Club. He enjoyed fishing and taking rides and long walks with his beloved beagle, Maggie.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 30 years, Debra Peterson Russo.

Anthony is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Pasko (Ken); his son, Anthony J. "TJ" Russo, III (Jennifer Joint); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Justin Pasko, and Anthony J. Russo, IV; his sister, Linda Stafford; and his sisters-in-law, Terry Janke (Jim), Tracey Peterson, Debi Peterson, and Barb Peterson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Thursday from 2 P.M.. to 5 P.M. and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Friday at 10 A.M.
