Antonietta Bucci, age 87, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday June 3, 2026 at her residence. She was born on June 13, 1938 in Roccasicuria, Italy, a daughter of the late Angelo and Elisa (Iannacito) DiMartino.
She worked as a cook at Hector's Restaurant for 38 years and was known throughout the community for her Italian cooking. Above all else she loved her family and the time spent with them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Giuseppe Bucci; her daughter, Elisa Bucci-Kostovich; her brother, Domenico DiMartino; her sister, Marietta DiMartino; her sister-in-law, Marietta Bucci, and her husband Domenic; and her brothers-in-law, Louis Rossi and Paul Morabito.
Antonietta is survived by her sons, Vincent, Joseph, David (Martha Keister), and James Bucci; her daughter, Linda Lehr (Joseph); her brothers, Pasqualino and Antonio DiMartino; and her sisters-in-law, Angelina Rossi and Irma Morabito. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1617 Walnut St, at 10 a.m. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
