Brenda Nielsen

Brenda Joyce Nielsen, 74, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at LECOM at Village Square. She was born June 5, 1951 in Erie, a daughter of the late Herman and Lillian (Ventresca) Nielsen.

Brenda was a graduate of Our Lady of Peace Grade School, McDowell High School, and Villa Maria College where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Teaching. She went on to work as a Supervisor at GECAC for over 35 years until her retirement.

She is survived by her sister, Kathy Frawley and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services and burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be private. The John R. Orlando Funeral is in charge of arrangements. Brenda's family would like to thank the staff at LECOM at Village Square for their wonderful care.
