Camilla DeDad Sachs

Camilla "Dolly" DeDad Sachs, age 89, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2018 at Saint Vincent Hospital. She was born in Erie, PA, the daughter of the late Leonard DeDad and Jennie Latona DeDad.

Dolly was a graduate of Academy High School class of 1946. She lived in California for 40 years where she met her husband Al. Al managed Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood and they later owned and operated their own movie theatre in Woodland Hills, CA. Dolly returned to Erie in her later years to be close to her family and many friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Albert Sachs, sister, RoseMarie Villa, brother Robert DeDad and nephew John DeDad Jr.

Dolly is survived by her brother, John DeDad, nieces and nephews, Carla Lalley, Bill Villa, Cara Witmer, Andrew DeDad and Dara DeDad.

Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Saint Paul Church, 1617 Walnut Street, on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Saint Paul Church, 1617 Walnut Street, Erie, PA 16502.
