Celia C. Martucci Cifolelli

Celia C. Martucci Cifolelli, age 90, of Erie, died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Abington Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness.

She was born May 13, 1922 in Erie, a daughter of the late Romolo and Ida Meloni Martucci. She lived in Erie her entire life.

She had worked at Metro Health Center.

Celia was a member of Sacred Heart Choir and Metro Health Center Guild. She was a German Shepherd enthusiast and was active in dog shows. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates Fan.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Cifolelli; a daughter, Marlene Cifolelli; two brothers, Edward and Anthony Martucci and one sister, Clara Heitman.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Cifolelli; five brothers, Mario Martucci, Ronald Martucci and wife Barbara, Robert Martucci and wife Rosemarie, Richard Martucci and wife Joanne, and Donald Martucci and wife Sheryl all of Erie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, 816 West 26th Street, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
