Charlotte E. Rohler Fritts

Charlotte E. Rohler Fritts, 91, of Erie, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Independence Court of Erie. She was born December 26, 1923 in Erie, a daughter of the late William and Anna Enstrom Rohler.

She worked at GE for 30 years, retiring in 1989 and was a member of the Church of the Cross.

Charlotte was a fantastic cook, talented seamstress, and her greatest passion was family gatherings.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth B. Fritts; a brother, Billy Rohler and a sister, Phyllis Kisiel.

She is survived by four sons, David Fritts (Karen) of Erie, Gary Fritts (Kay) of Erie, Ron Fritts (Margaret) of Boston, MA, and Ray Fritts (Lorie) of Erie; one daughter, Janice Sanders (Robert) of Greenville, IN; and one brother, Ken Rohler of Erie. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street on

Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from noon until the time of the Funeral Service there at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
