Claire E. Muller Domino

Claire E. Muller Domino, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at UPMC Hamot Hospital after an extended illness. She was born on August 8, 1948 in Erie, a daughter of Claire (Rensel) Muller and the late Ralph C. Muller.

Claire enjoyed a long career as an Insurance Professional. She began her career at Robinson and Conner Insurance and was an agent for State Farm Insurance. She then went on to work alongside her husband at Domino Insurance Company for 34 years.

She enjoyed gardening, interior decorating, boating, traveling, crafting, and most of all attending family get-togethers. She had a great love for dogs, especially her dog Savio.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband James T. Domino.

Claire is survived by her two sons, Brian Swahn (Sarah Glanville) and Alex Domino; her brother, R. Erich Muller; her sisters, Suzanne Courtney (Robert) and Karen Balzer (Leroy); and her grandchildren, Micha and Griffin Swahnville. She is also survived by several step-children, step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are invited to call on Monday, March 18, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, and may attend a service there on Tuesday, March 19, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint George Church, 5145 Peach Street, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The Mass will be live-streamed on the church's website (https://stgeorgeerie.org/live/). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (www.lls.org) or the Hamot Health Foundation (www.hamothealthfoundation.org).
