Clare M. Coticchia

Clare M. Coticchia, age 90, of Erie, died Friday, August 24, 2012 at Sarah Reed Retirement Center following a brief illness. She was born March 27, 1922, in Erie, the daughter of Ignazio and Amelia Calvano Melone.

She enjoyed cooking for her family. She had beautiful penmanship for which she had won several awards.

She is survived by two daughters, Jerilyn Naccarato and her husband Tony of Cary, NC and Darcel Resta and her husband Robert, of Erie; and two sons, James Coticchia and his wife Donna of Mission Viejo, CA and Daniel Coticchia of Erie. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
