Cynthia M. Swisher DiBello

Cynthia M. Swisher DiBello, 85, of Erie, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Greenfield Healthcare and Rehabilitation. She was born February 7, 1938 in Dubois, PA, a daughter of the late Alfred and Helen Swisher.

Cynthia was an avid Pittsburgh Pirate and Steeler fan and a great cook. She was a fun loving, outgoing, and caring mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending their sporting events.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald A. DiBello and two sisters, Barbara Lyons and Judy Scully.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Potter (Robert); two sons, Joseph DiBello and Scott DiBello; three grandchildren, AnnMarie Potter, Veronica Potter, and Kody; and one great-granddaughter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital, 1645 West 8th St., Erie, PA 16505.
