David J. Grieshaber

David J. Grieshaber, age 77, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Fairview Manor. He was born on November 8, 1946 in Erie, a son of the late Hilda Taylor and step-son of the late Ray Stanton.

Dave worked for the Barber Center for many years and loved working with his clients.

He loved his family very much. Family get togethers and poker games were very special to him. He was always willing to lend a hand. If you needed anything fixed you could call on Dave, he would show up with his hammer and nails.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda; daughter, Sherri; son, Michael; brother, Ray; and sisters, Beverly and Phyllis.

He is survived by his daughter, Demarie (Glenn); sons, Doug (Andrea) and Joe; four grandchildren; sisters, Jill, Linda, and Gloria; brothers, Tim and Ted; and Janet, mother of his sons and very special friend. From all of us to you, we will always love and miss you.

Dave's family would like to extend a special thank you to the girls on Dogwood Unit at Fairview Manor. You kept him smiling and happy.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service there at 5 p.m. Burial will be private in Erie Cemetery.
