Deborah A. Blose Cassatt

Deborah A. Blose Cassatt, 61, of Erie, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Pleasant Ridge Manor after an extended illness. She was born December 6, 1954 in Erie, a daughter of the late Murray Blose Jr. and Plina McKelvey Blose Dean and step-daughter of Paul Dean, Sr. of Erie.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Laura I. Wilkinson and her companion, Kenneth "Blaine" Hoefs.

Deborah is survived by her daughter, Rene Frawley of Erie; one son, Jeffrey Cortes (Jodi) of El Paso, TX; two brothers, Charles R. Blose (Kathleen) and Paul L. Dean, Jr. both of Erie; and one sister, Cheryl L. Borkowski (Richard) of FL. She is also survived by six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Monday at Word of Life Christian Center, 660 Hess Avenue, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Laura Wilkinson Memorial Fund, c/o Inter-Church Ministries, 250 West 7th Street, Erie, PA 16502. The John Orlando Funeral Home, 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
