Deborah Louise Sabatine

Deborah L. Sabatine, 68, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at Saint Vincent Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on January 13, 1958 in Erie, a daughter of the late Donald Perfetti and Elizabeth (Kubiak) Kaiser and her husband Ray Kaiser, who raised her as his own daughter.
Debbie was a longtime crossing guard for the City of Erie and the Erie School District, taking a genuine interest in "her" kids and getting to know them and their families throughout her years of service. She enjoyed playing bingo, trying her luck with scratch-off tickets, cheering on the Cleveland Browns, and following the WNBA. Above all, Debbie treasured her family, especially her boys, who were her greatest joy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Kaiser and David Perfetti.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Alexander Sabatine; her sons, Anthony and David Sabatine; and her brother, Daniel Perfetti.
