Debra Jean Ogg Bowers

Debra Jean Ogg Bowers, age 67, of Waterford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 6, 1956, a daughter of the late Ralph H. and Barbara D. Ogg.

Debbie graduated in 1974 from Baldwin High School in Pittsburgh, PA. She loved gardening, planting flowers, and most of all, her fur babies. She always had a tear to shed for all animals in their time of need. Debbie had a quick wit and sense on humor. She loved to laugh but had a tough time telling jokes!

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-sons, David and Jason Bowers; her brother, Gary R. Ogg; and her niece Rita Ogg.

Debbie leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 39 years, Irvin A. Bowers. She is also survived by her step-daughter, Michele Bowers Ward; her sister in law, Rita Ogg; and several cousins and nephews.

At Debbie's request, no visiting hours will be observed. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, Erie, PA 16502.
