Dennis F. Teed

Dennis F. Teed, age 75, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, January 29, 2024. He was born on February 27, 1948 in Erie, a son of the late Horace "Whitey" and Anna Falconer Teed.

Denny was a graduate of McDowell High School, Class of 1966. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served as an Aviation Structural Mechanic during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed a career as a boilermaker and had worked at many nuclear power plants across the country. Denny was a devoted father and family man. He was skilled mechanically and was great at fixing things. He was always quick to lend a hand utilizing his talents to help others out. He loved music and enjoyed the outdoors, especially sunsets on Presque Isle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Scott Teed and his sister-in-law, Robyn Powell.

Denny is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Kimberly Johnson Teed; daughters, Crystal Teed, Stacey MacPherson (Rick), and Heather Scott (Patrick); sons, Jake Young (Carly), Adam Young (Jackie), and Dan Young; sister, Laurie Perseo (Chris); and thirteen grandchildren. He is also survived by one niece, several nephews, and many cousins.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at which time Military Honors will be presented. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Erie Humane Society (www.eriehumanesociety.org/donate).
