Donald Golino

Donald Golino, age 67, of Erie, died Thursday, August 8, 2013 at his residence after a brief illness. He was born July 12, 1946 in Erie, a son of the late Dominic and Mary Dober Golino.

He was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School Class of 1964. He attended Gannon University. Donald served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and had worked at GE. He enjoyed Estate Sales and Ebay and was an avid Oakland Raiders Fan.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Ralph Golino.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Susan Riel Golino of Erie; two daughters Denise Kitchen and husband Robert and Danielle Golino both of Erie; one sister, Patricia Lunte of Mishawaka, IN; his mother-in-law, Lorraine Riel of Worcester, MA and two grandchildren, Hunter and Brenna Kitchen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters and brothers-in-law.

Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Tuesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church, 1553 East Grandview Blvd., Erie, PA 16510, at 10 a.m. Burial will be private in Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street. Memorials may be made to Lakeland Area Hospice, 221 Peninsula, Erie, PA 16506 or to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
