Floyd Paul Douglas, age 75, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Saint Vincent Hospital. He was born on November 27, 1950 in Pueblo, Colorado, a son of the late Jimmie and Angelina (Kochis) Douglas.
Paul honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps for six years. Following his military service, he dedicated himself to a career in law enforcement, beginning in Colorado and later serving with several local agencies in Pennsylvania. Among his many professional accomplishments, he was especially proud of his work with the Attorney General's Drug Enforcement Task Force.
Paul had a lifelong love of horses. Raised on a ranch, they were a constant and cherished part of his life, reflecting his deep appreciation for the land and the values it instilled in him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Douglas and also by four brothers.
He is survived by his loving companion of 43 years, Patricia McClellan; his children, Jennifer (David) Wagner, Joshua Douglas, Jacqueline (Rick) Marietta, Michele (Matthew) Stine, and Melissa (Jim) Luden; his grandchildren, Shelby, Samantha, Raymond, Julien, Allegra, Aidan, Angelina, Suzanna, Gabriella, Dominic, Christian, Mia Bella, Arietto, Owen, Rachel, and Brendan; his great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Apryl , Celianna, and Merlin. He is also survived by five sisters, three brothers and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements by the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, 2122 Raspberry Street, Erie, PA 16502, are private and being handled at the convenience of the family.
