Frank C. Scozzie, 76, of Erie, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, August 7, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born January 7, 1946 in Erie, a son of the late James and Mamie Sala Scozzie.

Frank was a 1963 graduate of Cathedral Preparatory. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, a Certificate in Counseling, and a Master's Degree in Special Education from Gannon University.

Frank began his career in The Erie School District as a teacher at Tech Memorial, then became the Director of Special Education, and lastly was the Assistant to the Superintendent until his retirement in 2008.

Frank enjoyed golfing and had an amazing sense of humor. He devoted his life to his family. His passion and true love showed in his dedication to his three daughters. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosemarie Wilson Scozzie.

He is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Sambuchi, husband Dr. Gregory Sambuchi, of East Amherst, NY, Kara Agresti and Shana Bennett, both of Erie; nine grandchildren, Briana, Olivia and Rose Sambuchi, Joseph, Caroline and William Agresti, and Paige, Daniel, and Jackson Bennett. He is further survived by his loving girlfriend, Carol LeCorchick, of Erie; one brother, Jim Scozzie, wife Delores, of Mentor, OH; one sister, Ann Scozzie Wargo, husband Wayne, of Orlando, FL; and several nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Service will be held there on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Patrick's Church, 130 East 4th Street, at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum.
