Frank L. DiMarie

Frank L. DiMarie, 74, of Erie, died Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Saint Vincent Health Center after a brief illness. He was born on October 4, 1940 in Erie, a son of the late Frank and Grace DeAngelo DiMarie. He lived in Erie his entire life.

He served in the United States Army.

Frank had worked at Kaiser Aluminum.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trap shooting. He was a member of Gem City Outdoorsmen Club, Erie Elks Club, and a life member of the United Bow Hunters of PA and the National Rifle Association.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wife, Filomena C. Orlando DiMarie; two brothers, Peter and Anthony DiMarie and one sister, Virginia Schmidt.

He is survived by his daughter, Doria L. Allen (Keith); one son, Frank T. DiMarie and two sisters, Rita Zollner and Marie Baldi all of Erie. He is also survived by one grandson, Frankie DiMarie, Jr. and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invite to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
