Frederick William Barringer

Frederick William Barringer, 57, of Waterford, passed away unexpectedly, September 3, 2023, at his residence. He was born June 25, 1966 in Erie, a son of the late Fred W. and Dorothy M. Shurrager Barringer.

Fred attended Sherman Central School and was a graduate of Gannon University where he earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in chemistry. Fred worked as a chemist at Erie Plating for numerous years.

He was a New England Patriot's fan.

He is survived by his son, Ted Barringer; two brothers, Andrew Barringer (Deborah) and Matthew Barringer (Samantha); and his nephew and nieces, Isaac, April, and Elizabeth Barringer.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and may attend a graveside funeral service on Saturday at Saint Francis Xavier Cemetery, 6750 West Road, McKean, PA, at 10:00 a.m.
