Gerald Ingaldi

Gerald E. Ingaldi, 76, of Erie, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025, after an extended illness. Gerald, or "Jerry" to his friends and family, was born on April 13th, 1949 in Erie, PA the son of the late Rose M. and Gerald A. Ingaldi.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 34 years Cindy (Regal) Ingaldi, his beloved daughter Mary-Catherine Ingaldi (Howie Campbell), his brother Ronald Ingaldi, his goddaughter, Angela (Tarasovitch) Petruzzi, and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Hansen, and by his brother-in-law and close friend, Richard "Ricky" Regal.

A proud graduate of Strong Vincent HS in Erie PA, Jerry embarked on six years of service post-high school in the United States Navy which allowed him to see the world and serve his country. Jerry a lifetime resident of Erie, PA, enjoyed his time playing softball and working at General Electric in the aerospace and in the off-highway vehicle departments. In his free time, Jerry enjoyed participating in bowling leagues, attending several Green Bay Packers (Go Pack Go!) and Detroit Tigers games, and enjoyed watching them from TV at home. Jerry would like to thank all of his many friends, who through his 76 years, have enriched his life and provided many fun memories to remember.

Jerry and his family would like to thank the AHN Cancer Institute staff, specifically Dr. P. Tayshetye and his staff along with the infusion nursing staff. You were a calming voice in a trying time. Lastly, to the AseraCare Hospice Staff, specifically his nurse Kristin, thank you for your guidance and friendship.

A private service with military burial will follow and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Erie Zoological Society, the Erie Humane Society, or to the charity of your choice, will be greatly appreciated.
