Gilda Bucarelli Presutti

Gilda Bucarelli Presutti, 86, of Erie, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born October 21, 1931 in Erie, a daughter of the late Bruno and Anastasia Gasbarro Bucarelli.

Gilda worked as a bank teller at Mellon Bank, and did bookkeeping at Rick Weaver Buick and the YMCA. She and her former husband also owned and operated the Baskin-Robbins franchise at the Millcreek Mall in the 1970's.

Gilda enjoyed bingo, playing cards, going to the casino, and painting and drawing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Laura Presutti, brother Joseph Bucarelli, sisters Elizabeth Noziglia and Rita Kownacki, sister-in-law Dorothy Bucarelli, and brothers-in-law Victor Kownacki and Jack Russell.

Gilda is survived by her daughter Bridget Seth and her husband Dennis; grandsons Dennis, Jr. and Christopher; sister Jeanette Russell; and her former husband Albert Presutti.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint George RC Church, 5145 Peach Street, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
