Grace M. Pizzi Seggi

Grace M. Pizzi Seggi, 87, of Erie, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Saint Vincent Hospital. She was born April 6, 1936 in Erie, a daughter of the late Peter A. Pizzi, Sr. and Jennie Viggiano Pizzi.

Grace was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School Class of 1954. She taught second grade at Saint Paul's Grade School, worked as a secretary at Seggi & Son's and then at ECCA for many years until her retirement.

She enjoyed knitting and ceramics.

Most of all Grace enjoyed her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy M. Seggi; her daughter, Julie Ann Seggi; one sister, Phyllis Bellucci; and two brothers, Anthony Pizzi and Peter A. Pizzi, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Gary M. Seggi (Brenda Rensel); four grandchildren, Kelsie Thompson (Mark), Kailee Henderson (Cannon), Cassandra Rensel and Blake Rensel; sister-n-law, Toni Pizzi; and two brothers-in-law, Sam Seggi (Diana) and Ron Seggi (Claudia). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service there at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at Noon.
