Howard F. Kirsch

Howard F. Kirsch, 92, of Erie, died Monday, April 27, 2015 at his residence. He was born on April 28, 1922 in Erie, a son of the late Leo W. and Adelaide Miller Kirsch.

He was a member of the Sienbenbuerger, Maennerchor, Elks, and Moose Clubs.

Howard was an avid Notre Dame Football and Packers fan.

He published dessert, cookie, and soup cookbooks.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandson, Kevin Grucza and his sister, Nancy Shelly

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Agnes Miller Kirsch; one daughter Debra Lynch of Bedford, OH; three sons, Brian Kirsch (Mary), Kevin Kirsch, and Matthew Kirsch (Tammi Golen) and one sister, Sr. Kathleen Kirsch, SSJ all of Erie. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Ryan Wells, Jeremy Lynch, and John Lynch and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invite to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 6 p.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
