Jacqueline "Jackie" Lucas

Jacqueline "Jackie" L. (McDonough) Lucas, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024 at UPMC Hamot after an extended illness. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 19, 1953, a daughter of the late John and Della (Murphy) McDonough.

Jackie worked as a medical secretary in the Emergency Department at UPMC Hamot Hospital until the time of her retirement. She enjoyed crafting, making jewelry and creating scrapbooks. She was a very loving and giving person and she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, DonPaul Lucas; a brother, John McDonough; and a sister, Bernadette McDonough.

Jackie is survived by her three sons, Timothy P. Lucas, Shawn M. Lucas and his wife, Christine, and Zachary D. Lucas and his wife, Jessica. She is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are private and are being handled by the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, 2122 Raspberry Street, Erie, PA 16502.
