James A. Morgan

James A. Morgan, 75, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born November 29, 1941 in Jamestown, NY, a son of the late James and Dolores Morgan.

James served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He had worked at General Electric for over 40 years. He enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and spending time at the YMCA.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother William Morgan and his sister Margaret Pometer.

He is survived by his former wife Evelyn R. Litz; his son, James T. Morgan, two grandchildren, James T. Morgan and Amber M. Morgan; and one great-grandchild, Peyton Collins, all of Erie.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street is handling the arrangements.
