James D. Karle

James D. Karle, age 53, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024. He was born on December 29, 1970, in Erie, a son of James J. Karle and Nancy (Izbicki) Saunders.

He was a graduate of Fairview High School, Class of 1990. James was known for his love of the outdoors, particularly hunting. He was a sports and science fiction enthusiast. He loved cheering on the Steelers as well as watching Star Wars and Star Trek movies. He was a kind soul and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Casimir and Shirley Izbicki; James L. and Nancy Karle; and his uncle and good friend, Casey Izbicki.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Victoria Courson Karle; daughters, Cambria Karle (Samuel Randall) and Gracelyn Karle; brother, David Karle (Elizabeth Reuscher); and sisters, Kristen and Olivia Karle.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, 2122 Raspberry Street, Erie, PA 16502.
