James W. DePaul

Jim "Deeper" DePaul, age 55, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 at Saint Vincent Hospital. He was born in Erie on August 3, 1965, a son of the late Frank and Susan Wolfe DePaul.

Jim was a graduate of Tech Memorial High School and was employed for many years in the local electrical trade. He also worked in the Pro Shop at Downing Golf Course and traveled the tri-state area to play golf.

He enjoyed Erie's many local ethnic events, especially the St. Paul's Italian Festival. Jim loved music…from Sinatra to Elvis to Culture Club; but mostly he cherished great times spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Mitchell DePaul; his grandchildren; his cousin, David Mesina; and his uncle, Bill Wolfe. He is also survived by his many great friends who were like family to him.

Private funeral arrangements are under the care of the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, Erie, PA 16502. A celebration of Jim's life is being planned for a later date.
