He loved family get togethers, practicing his golf swing and was a Fox News enthusiast.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Chester Pernice and his mother-in-law, Lucy Sanfratello Philip.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Mary Jo Pernice Westcott; his children, Jordana Roses, Jennifer Reinhardt, Richard Westcott (Nikki), Christopher Snyder (Nicole), Stacie Ames (Chris), and Mark Vommaro (Emily); his sister, Lynn Richardson; grandchildren, Audrina, Christian, Gianna, Adisyn, Dani, Shaun, Christopher, Jr., Carley, and Tyler; brothers-in- law, Lenny Pernice, Andy Vavrick (Peggy), and Michael Pernice; and step mother-in-law, Sandy Pernice.
