Jen Kenny

Jen Kenny, age 29, passed away peacefully and was received in the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Friday, November 10, 2023. She was born on November 5, 1994 in Erie, a daughter of Darlene Jordan Kenny and the late Kevin Kenny.

Jen graduated from Collegiate Academy High School, Class of 2013, and attended Penn State Behrend. She enjoyed shopping, collecting beach glass, writing poetry, and decorating for any occasion. To know her, was to love how she could make you laugh at her many imitations. Jen had a kind heart, and a genuine spirit to all those who knew her. She loved spending time with her family most of all.

Jen and her mom were very close and they would often say to one another, "When one of us is gone, our memories will have to get us through."

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Lee Jordan; her paternal grandfather, Robert Kenny; her uncle, Bret Kenny; her aunts, Deborah Kenny and Wendy Sementilli; her great aunt, Millie Berkenyi; and her cousin, Nyle Jablonka.

In addition to her mother, survivors include the love of her life, Nick Rocco; her brother, Adam Kenny; her cherished grandmother, Jean Kenny; her uncles, Vaughn Jordan, Frank Jordan, Mike Jordan, John Jordan, Bob Kenny (Debbie) and Dan Sementilli; her aunt, Mary Kenny; and her great uncle, Jerry Jordan (Ida). She is also survived by many cousins and her precious pets, Rocky, Molly, and Cali.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service there at 3 p.m. Burial will be private in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the charity of one's choice.
