Jo Yvonne Pikewiecz Bruno

Jo Yvonne "Nunee" Pikewiecz Bruno, 93, of Erie, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at Saint Vincent Hospital after a brief illness. She was born September 8, 1924 in Erie, a daughter of the late Frank and Martha Krause Pikewiecz.

Jo worked as a hairdresser, for Newton Advertising as a sales representative, and was the apartment manager for Baldwin Apartments.

Jo was passionate about her grandchildren and enjoyed attending garage sales. She was a kind and generous person.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert P. Bruno; her son Robert M. Bruno; three brothers; and four sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori Bruno of Erie; sister, Dorothy Lewis of Florida; daughter-in-law, Gloria Bruno of Erie; five grandchildren, Jessica, Patrick, and Melissa Langer, R. Derek Bruno and Brenda Fritz; one great-granddaughter, Brittany Fritz. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her dog, Peanut.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Thursday from Noon until the time of the Funeral Service there at 2 p.m.
