Jose Luis Gonzalez

Jose Luis Gonzalez, 24, of West Palm Beach, Florida, formerly of Erie, died Sunday May 1, 2016 as a result of an automobile accident, in Port St. Lucie, Florida. He was born February 26, 1992, in Erie, a son of Luis A. Gonzalez Latorre and Leslie E. Rodriguez, of Erie.

Jose was a 2011 graduate of C.C.D.S in Erie. He worked as a manager at Taco Bell Restaurant in West Palm Beach, FL.

Jose was loved wherever he went. He had a passion for sports and family, and excelled at both. His smile would brighten the darkest day and in the moments spent with him you knew what it was to be truly blessed.

Besides his parents he is survived by four brothers, Luis D. Gonzalez (Sara), Geneva, OH; Michael C. Turk, Lake City, PA, Kevin M. Turk, Erie, PA, Luis J. Gonzalez (Melissa), West Palm Beach, FL; and one sister, Kelly M. Turk, Erie, PA. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends are invited to call the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a service at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m.

Burial will be in Erie Cemetery.
