Joseph S. Criscione Sr

Joseph S. Criscione, Sr., 75, of Erie, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022 at Saint Vincent Hospital. He was born March 24, 1947 in Erie, a son of the late Samuel and Carmella Todaro Criscione.

Joseph was a graduate of Academy High School. He was the supervisor at Modern Industries for 42 years, retiring in 2008.

Joseph was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and Pirates fan. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandie Szuba Criscione.

He is survived by his daughter, Carmella Douglas (Michael); a son, Joseph S. Criscione, Jr. (Mary); and two sisters, Shirley Denning (Richard) and Joanne Zipperi. He is also survived by four grandchildren.

Funeral Arrangements are private. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the ANNA Shelter, 1555 East 10th Street, Erie, PA 16511. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., is handling arrangements.
