Josephine M. Vicary Valerio

Josephine M. Vicary Valerio, age 90, of Erie, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Fairview Manor.

She was born October 1, 1921 in Erie, a daughter of the late Frank and Ann Alvino Vicary.

She was an avid card player and enjoyed cooking.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Julio A. Valerio; one brother, Fred Vicary and one sister, Mary Loomis.

She is survived by her four daughters, Victoria Zahradka and husband Mike of Corning, NY, Patricia Manson and husband Daryl, Joann Vendetti and husband Ron and Julie Pursell and husband Charles all of Erie and one son, James Valerio and wife Judy of Virginia Beach, VA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Service there on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. with Rev. James Groves officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
