Joshua A. Atkinson

Joshua A. Atkinson, age 47, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Saint Vincent Hospital. He was born at Beal AFB, California on August 14, 1975, a son of Patricia Tunney Hoffert (husband, Paul) and the late Jay Atkinson.

Josh had a big heart and a dry sense of humor. His presence would light up a room and he loved his dad jokes. He was an enthusiastic supporter of the Buffalo Bills (He loved his Bill's!) and enjoyed caring for his "fur babies", Bruno, Mei Ling, Sola, Olivia, and Luna.

He is survived by his husband, Isaac Lanager; his sons, Avery and Alec Atkinson; his brothers, Jarrod Atkinson (husband, Justin) and Michael Hoffert; his sister, Jill Czekalski (Robert Jr.); his mother-in-law, Jean Viglione; and his father-in-law, William Ager. He is also survived by many dear friends. "Friends are the family we choose."
