Judith A. Sperduto Kirkpatrick
Judith "Judy" A. Sperduto Kirkpatrick, 70, of North Fort Myers, FL, peacefully entered heaven's gates on May 22, 2023, after succumbing to a brief battle with cancer. Judy was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on April 4, 1953, to Adelaide L. "Wee" Minnaugh Sperduto and the late Carl A. Sperduto.
Judy graduated from Villa Maria Academy in 1971 and continued her education thereafter, studying business at the Erie Business Center. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years, helping numerous local businesses throughout Erie County. Judy's talents led her to work alongside David Sinclair at Sinclair's Miniature Automobiles and to eventually run her own business selling premium miniature cars worldwide.
In 2015, Judy and her husband Michael retired and moved to Florida where they were able to spend precious time together before his passing in 2016. Judy enjoyed being active in her community playing pickleball, swimming, and forming a singles' club in her neighborhood. It was here in 2021, that she met a new love, Gary Boren, who has truly been a light through her most recent darkness.
In addition to her father, Judy is preceded in death by her husband Michael and her brother Richard.
In addition to her mother, Judy is survived by her best friend and partner Gary Boren, and seven wonderful siblings, Louis Sperduto (Pati), Theresa Sperduto, Carl F. Sperduto (Brenda Certner), Barbara Rossman (Edward), Margaret Mantsch (Jeff), Jeanne Edwards (Jon), and Mary Anne Martone (Marty). Additionally, she is survived by her three children, Nicole Lowry (Matthew), Jessica Hotchkiss (Kurt), Sean Kirkpatrick (Candice), as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, two fur babies, and five grandchildren who lovingly call her "Nana."
Everyone who knew Judy felt her kind heart and generous, fun-loving nature. She will especially be missed around the pool by her friends at the Six Lakes Country Club in North Fort Myers, Florida. Judy's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral, Florida for their care and compassion.
