Linda C. Macri Jablonka

Linda C. Macri Jablonka, age 67, of Erie, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at UPMC Hamot after an extended illness. She was born November 3, 1945, a daughter of the late Francis Macri. She lived in Erie most of her life.

She worked as a crossing guard for the Erie School District and was an active member of Saint Paul 's Rosary and Altar Society.

Linda enjoyed gardening, yard work and bingo. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Macri.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Adam John Jablonka of Erie; two sons, John M. and Sean B. Jablonka both of Erie; two brothers, Ronnie Macri and Ted Macri both of Jamestown, NY and a sister-in-law, Jane Weber and husband Charles of Harborcreek, PA. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Casey, Nyle and Brady Jablonka and nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Service there on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
