Louis D. Dale

Louis D. Dale, age 34, passed away unexpectedly after a long illness on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Erie on August 19, 1988, a son of Daniel and Carrie Baldi Dale.

Louis was a graduate of Erie Central High School, Class of 2006, and was a longtime employee at Presque Isle Downs and Casino. He enjoyed gaming and sports and was a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan. Louis loved his dogs, Zeus and Apollo. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mary Dale; and his maternal grandparents James and Antoinette Baldi.

In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by his brother, Anthony Dale; his paternal grandfather, Edward Dale; and his godparents, Vince Baldi and Cynthia Ann Baldi. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, including his best friends, Jonathan, Tony, and Dan.

Family and friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and may attend a funeral service there on Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
