Marcelina D. "Mark" Giancola

Marcelina D. "Mark" Giancola, 88, of Erie, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at LECOM Senior Living, after a brief illness. He was born in Erie September 13, 1928, a son of the late Dominic and Bessie Luciano Giancola.

He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed walking, fishing and reading his Bible. He was very involved in his church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice Collins Giancola and a son, Luis Negron; one brother and five sisters.

He is survived by two sisters Carmella Hackbarth and Josephine Brown, of Phoenix, AZ.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service there at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private in Erie County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
