Maria (Mimi) Clara Cicilia Tornincasa Rondinelli 79, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Thursday, February 27th, 2025. She was born November 22, 1945, in Montenero, Italy.

Maria was preceded in death by (parents) Nicola and Isabella Tornincasa, (sister) Carmela Anthony, (brother-in-law) Edwin Gibson, and (daughter-in-law) Carla Rondinelli.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Antonio and 3 sons Michele (Erin), Nicola (Victoria), Antonio (Melany), and her 6 grandchildren, AJ, James, Antonio, Allasandra, Daniella, and Gabriella; two sisters, Lucina Gibson, Patrizia (Juan) Cubero and brother-in-law Jerry Anthony with many nieces, nephews and friends.

She worked many years at EF Foundation and the International Institute. Her many occupations included: placing exchange students, interpreter/translator, teaching, languages and private language tutor.

Mimi enjoyed cooking, traveling, teaching, making jokes (that no one understood), and taking care of her family. Her greatest sources of happiness in life were her children, grandchildren and her loving husband Antonio. We will miss her smile, laughter, meals, love, and her goodbye kisses that she made sure all of us got before we left her house. Maria, also known as Mom, Mimi, Grandma, will be greatly missed.
