Marianne Hetzel

Marianne Coughlin Hetzel, 82, of Medford, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025. Marianne was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, where she graduated from St. Benedict's Academy and studied at Edinboro College. She lived in West Windsor, New Jersey, where she raised her family.

She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Fredrick W. Hetzel, Ph.D. Marianne is survived by two sons, Fredrick M. Hetzel and wife Toni of Georgia and Kevin T. Hetzel and wife Corlynn Hullfish of New Jersey, as well as a daughter, Mollie Hetzel of New Jersey. Marianne is also survived by four grandchildren.

Marianne always proud of her Irish heritage would say, may the road rise to meet you and the sun shine warm upon your face until we meet again....

Friends are invited to attend a Committal Prayer Service on Saturday, May 16th, at Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 3325 West Lake Rd, Erie, PA 16505 at 11:30 a.m.
