Mark R. Woodard, 74, of Harborcreek, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Saint Vincent Hospital after a brief illness. He was born July 17, 1952 in Buffalo, NY, a son of the late Robert and Beatrice (Shelly) Woodard.
He was a graduate of McDowell High School, Class of 1970. Mark embarked on a fulfilling career at General Electric through their Apprenticeship Program, dedicating 35 years of service before his retirement in 2007.
Mark found joy in various pursuits, particularly computer programming, video games, and playing the guitar. He loved music, especially classic rock, with the timeless melodies of Eric Clapton holding a special place in his heart. In his younger days, he embraced the freedom of the open road, relishing the thrill of riding his motorcycle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Woodard.
He is survived by his daughter, Anne Barton (Paul); son, Eric Woodard; twin sisters, Cherie Yarman and Joy Grande (Glen); sisters, Renee Anderson and Elaine Woodard; step-sister, Debra Kay Mathews; and former wife, Claudia Belsan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
No calling hours will be observed. Funeral arrangements will be private.
