Mary Ann Calabrese Treiber

Mary Ann Calabrese Treiber, 70, of Erie, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Saint Vincent Health Center. She was born October 17, 1943 in Erie, a daughter of the late John and Ann Orlando Calabrese.

She was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School Class of 1961. She was a sales associate at GTE Phone Mart and worked as an operator for GTE Verizon from where she retired.

Mary Ann enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping and gardening.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her infant twin sister, Rita Ann Calabrese

She is survived by her one son, John Calabrese Treiber; one sister, Nancy A. Klein; an aunt, Mary Calabrese all of Erie; a special cousin, Kim Gigliotti of McKinney, TX and former husband and friend, James A. Treiber of Erie. She is also survived by numerous cousins.

Friends are invited to call at The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
