Mary Ann Tirpak Johnson

Mary Ann Tirpak Johnson, 79, of Erie, passed away Tuesday morning, January 13, 2015. A resident of Erie all of her life, she was born in Erie on January 11, 1936, a daughter of the late John J. and Margaret Turos Tirpak.

Mary Ann was a loving Mother and Grandmother, and was dedicated to her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a full time homemaker, and had a true passion for helping others. She enjoyed golfing, going to the casino, and collecting Angels.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Joseph J. Fisher, two sisters, Joan Tirpak and Diane Knight, one brother, John J. Tirpak, Jr, and two nieces, Pam Tirpak and Kimberly Tirpak.

Survivors include one son, John "Jack" Bross of Erie; four daughters, Stephanie Vogel and her husband, Paul, of Erie, Christine Lucchetti and her husband, Joseph, of Erie; Roberta Wernicki and her husband, Thomas, of Ravenna, Ohio, Shelby Johnson and her fiancée, Jason Quinn, of Erie; one brother, David Tirpak, of East Springfield, Pa; grandchildren, Keith and Alessia Lucchetti, Nicole Borkowski, DaCarra and Mykaila Johnson, and Naoko Fisher; great- grandchildren, Emi Fisher, Avery Joint, and Joseph Lucchetti. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
