Mary K. Agresti Esposito, age 85, of Erie, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Millcreek Community Hospital . She was born August 18, 1927 in Erie, a daughter of the late Ernesto and Maria Milania Scavo Agresti. She lived in Erie her entire life and ran the Bridal Department at JCPenney, retiring in 1985.

Mary was a founding member of Erie Osteopathic Hospital Guild and served as their president. She was a member of St. John of God Society, a founding member of "The Sisters Bowling Tournament" at Rolling Meadows, and was active in the PTA and both Irving and Roosevelt School.

Mary was the matriarch of the family and even though she was handicapped by a stroke 25 years ago she still fulfilled her role as mom and nana with the tradition of family Sunday meals. She was an avid Sinatra fan and saw many live performances.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Thomas A. Esposito; two brothers, Dr. Ben Agresti and Dr. Amadeo Agresti and five sisters, Jay Parsons, Silvia Ferretti, Helen Agresti, Kitty Perseo and Edith Jesus.

She is survived by her three daughters, Sandy Wojtkielewicz and husband John, Maria E. Ross and husband Lewis and Felicia Kenny and husband Jeff all of Erie and six grandchildren, Krista Wojtkielewicz, Sondra Friedman and husband Gene, Thomas Ross and wife Ashley, Jeffery Kenny, Melissa Ross, and Jennifer Kenny. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Kayla and Ryan Friedman and Dominic Thomas Ross and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 9:30 a.m.

Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials may be made to LECOM, 1858 West Grandview Blvd., Erie, PA 16509.

Mary's family would like to thank the staff at Millcreek Manor and the ACE Unit at Millcreek Community Hospital.
